The Noxious was founded by drummer Victor Gares and guitarist Vincent Hospital in 2004. But it was only at the arrival of singer Max Filoche that the group started to work hard it's music technically and lyrically.
Inspiring themselves from groups like Rage Against The Machine, Fear Factory and Sepultura, the group launches itself in a rock / neo metal style.
During 2005 the bassist is replaced by Louis Cavender, who arrived from another local group. Louis brings straight away his new ideas to the band.
A couple of months later The Noxious came into contact with Solo Monkey, another local group, which allows them to enter the Marmande music association +2core.
Thanks to +2core, The Noxious plays many shows in the Marmande area with prestigious groups like H-Tray and Sybreed.
With time, the bands musical tastes change, which brings a great change in style, The Noxious now resembling groups like Devildriver, Chimaira and Hatebreed with a more metal / hardcore sound than before.
It was during the 4.7 Metal Tour concert in Marmande with Tripod that the group was discovered by the Florida, a concert room in Agen, who offered the band to play with Dagoba. This concert was a moment that opened new desires and objectives for the group.
With 2006 being a very busy year for the band, between rehearsals and concerts, The Noxious enters 2007 with more experience and an even bigger desire to play new and bigger stages.
