First off, let me start by saying that this is an awesome site! I'm a relatively new singer songwriter and have been playing guitar for about two years now. I've had the singing bug since I was just a little guy, but usually limited it to the shower, driving, whenever I was alone you know. After all, it takes some serious courage and self confidence to do it in front of actual people. Which is definately a goal of mine. Queue the guitar. Wanting to play guitar has been a long-time desire, but I guess I never felt confident that I could learn. After half joking that I was gonna learn for quite a while, my wife called on a friend to start teaching me. After strumming my first G chord, I was hooked for life. Now, I play mostly acoustic versions of alternative rock, folk, and whatever else grabs me. Also starting to write lyrics and hopefully I can add some melody's soon.
